Three New “Marvel Zombies” Halloween Specials Coming To Disney+

Earlier today, during a special Up Next From Marvel Television and Marvel Animation panel on the Empire Stage at the New York City Comic Con, Marvel revealed details on three upcoming Halloween animated specials set in the “Marvel Zombies” universe.

The first season, which consisted of four episodes, was released on Disney+ back in 2025 and was a spin-off from the “What If? series, which is set after the Avengers are overtaken by a zombie plague, a desperate group of survivors discover the key to bringing an end to the super-powered undead, racing across a dystopian landscape and risking life and limb to save their world.

The three new specials will be released on Disney+ over the course of three years, and Marvel has revealed the titles of these three specials, along with when they’ll be released.

The Winter Soldier – 2027
The Fist of Khonshu – 2028
The Last Guardian – 2029

Very little is known about these three new animated specials, but with this triple announcement of specials, it showcases Marvel’s commitment to the Zombies side of the MCU and also a commitment to more Marvel content for Disney+ in the future.
