Disney’s FX is developing a new limited thriller series, “The Veil”, which is being created by Steven Knight and stars Emmy Award winner Elisabeth Moss.

This gripping thriller explores the surprising and fraught relationship between two women who play a deadly game of truth and lies on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London. One woman has a secret, and the other has a mission to reveal it before thousands of lives are lost.

According to Variety, Josh Charles, Dali Benssalah, and Yumna Marwan have been cast in the limited series.  No character details have been revealed, though we do know that Josh Charles will play Max, Dali Benssalah will play Malik, and Yumna Marwan will play Adilah.

Josh Charles has previously starred in the HBO series “We Own This City” and “The Good Wife”. Dali Benssalah has previously starred in “No Time to Die” and “The Accidental Getaway Driver.”  While Yumna Marwan has previously starred in “Little Birds” and “The Translator.”

This limited series will be written and executive produced by Steven Written, alongside PatMa Productions’ Denise Di Novi and Nina Tassler, and Moss with Lindsey McManus under their Love & Squalor Pictures banner, also executive producing.

“The Veil” will be produced by FX Productions and will be released on Hulu in the United States.  We should also expect this series to be released as a Star Original on Star+ in Latin America and on Disney+ internationally.
