Ooga-Chaka! I can’t stop this feeling. Deep inside of me. I am absolutely hooked on everything coming from the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s wildest team, The Guardians of the Galaxy. Not only do they have 2 of the best films in the MCU with ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.1 & Vol. 2’. But they also have one of the most fun attractions at a Disney Park, in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout’. And this Summer coming to Epcot, we will be able to travel to the first Outer-Worldly Showcase in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind’.

There is no shortage of Guardians content out there. But it’s not over quite yet. During Disney Investor Day in 2020, Kevin Feige announced that we would be getting the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special’ coming to Disney+.

Kevin stated they would film this new Holiday special during the production of the 3rd and final installment of the franchise. No concrete details have been shared about what happened to our team during this Disney+ special, but we know director James Gunn had the best time filming it.

In a recent interview with Radio Times, the director said it’s

“the greatest thing I’ve ever done in my life……It’s totally ridiculous, and every day we can’t believe that we’re making it…..We all completely love it. It is unlike anything that anyone’s ever seen before. I can’t wait for people to see it.  And it’s out pretty soon.  You know, it’s out this Christmas. It’s not like people have to wait that long.”

I cannot be more excited to check out this all-new holiday special coming to Disney+ this Holiday season.
