With Disney purchasing 20th Century Fox earlier this year, it has given Disney a huge back catalog of movies and shows to dive into for Disney+.

One the biggest animated franchises for 20th Century Fox is Ice Age, with multiple movies, specials and shorts.  So far only a couple of Ice Age specials have been added to Disney+, but this is changing soon as in the Netherlands, all of the Ice Age movies will be added on January 1st, as subscribers were informed in an email.

The Ice Age movies include:

  • Ice Age
  • Ice Age: The Meltdown
  • Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
  • Ice Age: Continental Drift
  • Ice Age: Collision Course

There is no official details on when the Ice Age movies will be added to Disney+ in other regions such as the US. Since there is going to be some existing contracts to sort out, as some of the movies are also on other platforms such as Fubo, Sling, Direct TV and Starz.  Disney has already confirmed what titles will be added in the US on January 1st and that list didn’t include the Ice Age films.

Are you excited to see Ice Age on Disney+ soon?
