The Disney+ Original series, High School Musical: The Musical – The Series has won the Outstanding Kids & Family Programming award at the 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards, which honours media for fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues.

Other shows nominated in the category included Disney’s Andi Mack, Hulu’s The Bravest Knight, The Loud House and Arthur. Along with Rocko’s Modern Life, She-Ra and the Princess of Power, Steven Universe: The Movie, Nella: The Princess Knight and Twelve Forever.

Disney+ and Hulu are sharing the award, as High School Musical: The Musical – The Series tied with Hulu’s The Bravest Knight.
