“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 21 Coming Soon To Disney+ (Australia/New Zealand)
Later this month, one of ABC’s most popular series, “Grey’s Anatomy”, is returning for its 21st season.
The high-intensity medical drama, now approaching its 20th season, follows a team of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial who are faced with life-or death decisions on a daily basis. They seek comfort from one another, and, at times, more than just friendship. Together they discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white.
The new season will premiere with the first episode on ABC in the United States on Thursday, 26th September 2024 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, with new episodes becoming available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.
Disney has announced that the new season will premiere on Disney+ in Australia and New Zealand on the same day as when it hits Hulu in the United States. It’s also been confirmed the new season will be coming to Disney+ in other countries like the UK, but no release date has been announced yet.
In the first episode of the new season, after firing some of Grey Sloan’s best, Catherine continues to interfere with Meredith and Amelia’s research. Accidents at a climate change protest bring unique cases to the hospital, and Bailey encounters a blast from the past.
Roger’s Take: It’s great to see Disney+ subscribers in Australia and New Zealand getting new episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy” the day after they air in the US, which is exactly what Disney needs to do to in order to make Disney+ a global streaming service.
Previous seasons of “Grey’s Anatomy” are also available to stream on Disney+.
