Garret Dillahunt Joins “High Potential” Cast
This coming Fall, Disney is releasing a brand new drama series called “High Potential”, which has been created by Oscar-nominated writer Drew Goddard and based on the popular French series, “Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI),” .
The crime procedural stars the incomparable Kaitlin Olson as Morgan, a single mom with an exceptional mind whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective.

“High Potential” also stars Daniel Sunjata as Karadec, Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Osman, Amirah J as Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot and Judy Reyes as Selena.
Deadline has revealed that Garret Dillahunt has joined the cast of “High Potential” and will be playing the role of Lieutenant Melon, who a bit of a jerk who heads up the Robbery Division of the LAPD precinct, but he’d much rather be running Major Crimes. He believes he was unfairly passed over in favor of Selena and finds every opportunity to remind her.
Garret Dillahunt has previously starred in “Justified”, “The Dead Don’t Hurt”, “Hysteria”, “Raising Hope” and “Ambalance”.
“High Potential” is produced by ABC Signature. Drew Goddard and Sarah Esberg executive produce for Goddard Textiles. Dan Etheridge of Spondoolie Productions is an executive producer, as well as Pierre Laugier and Anthony Lancret of Itinéraire Productions, a UGC company and Jean Nainchrik of Septembre Productions, a Mediawan Company. Alethea Jones is director and executive producer. Kaitlin Olson also serves as producer. Todd Harthan has recently taken over as the showrunner on the project.
The new series is set to debut on ABC this fall on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. this fall, after “Dancing With the Stars.” These episodes will be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+. As with other originals, expect to see this released as a Star Original on Disney+ around the world.
