In March, Disney+ will be getting many new originals including Marvel’s “The Falcon And The Winter Soldier” and “The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers” plus the new animated movie “Raya and the Last Dragon” will be available on Premier Access. Plus there will be lots of new “Star Originals” arriving throughout the month in Canada.

Friday 5th March


Marvel’s WandaVision – Finale

Marvel Studios presents “WandaVision,” a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) – two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives – begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Schaeffer is head writer.


Raya And The Last Dragon (Premier Access)

We travel to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together long ago in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than a dragon to save the world—it’s going to take trust and teamwork as well. Raya and the Last Dragon features the voices of Kelly Marie Tran as Raya, a warrior whose wit is as sharp as her blade, and Awkwafina as magical, mythical, self-deprecating dragon named Sisu. The feature film is directed by Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada and produced by Osnat Shurer and Peter Del Vecho.

Raya and the Last Dragon will be priced at $34.99 on Disney+ Premier Access. It will also be available in theatres.


Love in the Time of Corona (All episodes) – Star Original

Filmed using remote technologies shot in the talents’ actual homes, this four-part, romantic dramedy follows four interwoven stories. James & Sade have spent so much time away from each other due to James’ demanding work life that it’s as if they’re only just starting to get to know each other, juggling being new parents, and beginning to grapple with whether they may be more than just a little out of sync.

Flicka 2

Carrie’s life takes a turn when she moves from the city to her father’s ranch in Wyoming. Soon, she forms a bond with Flicka, a mustang whose free spirit matches her own.


Flicka: Country Pride

Toby and his horse Flicka find work at a stable owned by Kelly. Soon Kelly’s daughter bonds with Flicka and decides to train him for a competition. But, first they must deal with many adversities.


The Aftermath

When Rachel arrives in Hamburg in the aftermath of the war, she is saddened by the destruction she sees. Things get complicated when she has to share a house with Stefan and his daughter.


Love, Victor – Episode 104 ‘The Truth Hurts’

Victor and Pilar get to the bottom of what happened between Roger and their mom back in Texas.


Helstrom – Episode 104 ‘Containment’

A demonic enemy brings together an unusual group. Daimon and Ana travel to San Francisco in search of Yen and an artefact that may help defeat the enemy. Ana tells Daimon about her extracurricular activities, and Gabriella’s faith is attacked.


Solar Opposites – Episode 104 ‘The Booster Manifold’

Egad! Korvo and Terry try to manage their stress. The replicants learn about their growing bodies.


Friday 12th March

“Assembled: The Making of WandaVision”

The first episode of ASSEMBLED will focus on the critically acclaimed WandaVision. Join Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany and WandaVision’s creative team as the episode pulls back the curtain on this highly groundbreaking series. Learn how the production’s surprising concept took shape by drawing inspiration from classic sitcoms. Witness how the crew went to great lengths to emulate various filmmaking methods used during the early years of television. Discover the unique challenges and ultimate rewards of performing an entire episode in front of a live studio audience. “Marvel Studios: Legends” serves as an exciting refresher for the various heroes and villains making their way to the highly anticipated streaming shows premiering on Disney+, setting the stage for the upcoming adventures. The episodes will feature Falcon, Winter Soldier, Zemo, and Sharon Carter.

YAKKITY YACK! TERRY AND KORVO ARE GOING TO SCHOOL! Jesse and Yumyulack *also* go to school.


With tensions high at home, Victor lets his family throw him a birthday party.


Helstrom – Episode 105 ‘Committed’

Things are not what they seem as Mother’s health sharply declines. As Ana searches for Yen, Gabriella offers counsel to a student struggling to understand how demons live among us. Daimon makes a discovery that is truly a matter of life and death.


Jane

Using a trove of never-before-seen footage, the film tells the story of Jane’s early explorations and research in Tanzania, focusing on her groundbreaking field work, her relationship with her cameraman and husband Hugo van Lawick, and the chimpanzees that were the subject of her study.


Disney Junior Doc McStuffins: The Doc Is In

Dottie McStuffins puts on her stethoscope and starts fixing toys and dolls, as she wants to become a doctor like her mother.


Dr. K’s Exotic Animal ER (s1 – s7)

In the varied forms of veterinary medicine, Dr. Susan Kelleher’s practice may be one of the more unusual. Known as Dr. K, she runs South Florida’s Broward Avian and Exotics Animal Hospital, and this series follows the staff as it cares for rabbits, ferrets, foxes, fish, birds, reptiles, marsupials, and even primates. As do some other vets, Kelleher thinks domesticating wild animals like monkeys is a bad idea, but that feeling doesn’t interfere with her taking care of them: “If it will fit through the door, I’ll treat it,” she says.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier – Episode 1

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, kicking off on Disney+ March 19, 2021, is a new series starring Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon, and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. The pair, who came together in the final moments of “Avengers: Endgame,” team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience. Directed by Kari Skogland with Malcolm Spellman serving as head writer, the six-episode series also stars Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker.

Genius (Season 2)

Season 2 of the Emmy-nominated series “Genius” tells the story behind Pablo Picasso, one of the 20th century’s most influential, controversial, and celebrated artists. Also explored are the muses who inspired him. Starring Antonio Banderas in the titular role, hourlong episodes explore how the Spanish-born Picasso’s passion and creativity were inseparably linked to his personal life, which included tumultuous marriages, numerous affairs and constantly shifting political and personal alliances.

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers – Episode 1

Nearly 30 years after first taking flight, “The Mighty Ducks” returns in a brand new chapter starring Lauren Graham and Emilio Estevez in the iconic role he originated as legendary Coach Gordon Bombay.

In the 10-episode season set in present day Minnesota, the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Lauren Graham), set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today. With the help of Gordon Bombay, they rediscover the joys of playing just for love of the game.
