FX’s “The Sensitive Kind” Pilot Adds Five New Cast Members
Disney’s FX has added some more cast for a new pilot called “The Sensitive Kind”, which is being created by the creator of “Reservation Dogs”, Sterlin Harjo, who has an overall deal with FX Productions.
The upcoming pilot is about a Tulsa noir about a guy who knows too much. It is going to star Ethan Hawke, who has previously starred in many movies, including “Training Day” and “Telsa” plus the Disney+ Original series, “Moon Knight”.
Also starring in the pilot will be Keith David (“The Princess and the Frog,” “Greenleaf”), Siena East (“The Sex Lives of College Girls”), Jeanne Tripplehorn (“The Terminal List,” “Mrs. America”), and Tim Blake Nelson (“Watchmen,” “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs”).
Also set to star in the new pilot will be Scott Shepherd (“The Last of Us,” “Killers of the Flower Moon”), Tracy Letts (“Winning Time: Rise of the Lakers Dynasty,” “Lady Bird”), Kyle Maclachlan (“Twin Peaks,” upcoming “Fallout”), and Macon Blair (“Reservation Dogs,” “I Care A Lot”).
It’s also been revealed by Deadline that Killer Mike (Ozark), Kaniehtiio “Tiio” Horn (Reservation Dogs), Cody Lightning (Echo), Michael Hitchcock (Grand Death Lotto) and Ryan Kiera Armstrong (Star Wars: Skeleton Crew), have joined the cast.
Sterlin Harjo will write and direct the pilot episode, in addition to being an executive producer, along with Ethan Hawke.
Should FX pick the pilot up for a full series, we should expect to see the show available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and released as a Star Original on Disney+ around the world.
