Disney has released a trailer for the upcoming FX documentary series, “Social Studies”, which features a diverse group of LA teens who offer an intimate glimpse into how social media has reshaped childhood.

This new documentary series created by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Lauren Greenfield that follows a group of teens as they navigate the complexities of growing up with social media.

It features a diverse group of LA teens who offer an intimate glimpse into how social media has reshaped childhood. From battling bullying, grappling with beauty standards, coping with comparison pressures and racism, exploring sexuality, and making life-altering decisions, viewers go on a raw, visceral and urgent journey through the challenges of growing up in the digital era.

“Social Studies” will premiere with two episodes on the FX channel on September 27th 2024 and it will be available the following day on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States. The series will also be released on Disney+ internationally on Saturday 28th September 2024.
