Disney has announced that four new episodes from the second season of the animated series Firebuds will be coming to Disney+ in the United States on Wednesday, April 10th 2024. These episodes recently aired on the Disney Junior channel and continue the trend of Disney releasing its latest animated shows on Disney+ in batches.

The series is set in a fantastical world where talking vehicles live, work and play with the humans who drive them, “Firebuds” follows a boy and his firetruck as they team up with their first responder friends to help others in their community with problems, both big and small. Whether rescuing a young car that’s stuck in a tree, tracking down lost Dalmatian puppies or helping their neighbors stock up on emergency supplies during a blackout, the Firebuds highlight the importance of teamwork and helping your fellow citizens.

The new episodes heading to Disney+ in April include:

• Wrong Way Rescue – The Firebuds must save a young car stuck in reverse.
• Apple Pie Peril – The Firebuds help Chef Pavani make an apple pie for her harvest festival.
• Hike & Seek – While on a nature drive, the Firebuds must rescue a young car who gets lost in the woods during a storm.
• Blizzard Buds – The Buds brave a blizzard to reunite a family for Christmas.

The lead voice cast includes Declan Whaley as Bo, Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Flash, Vivian Vencer as Violet, Lily Sanfelippo as Axl, JeCobi Swain as Jayden, and Caleb Paddock as Piston. Lou Diamond Phillips and Yvette Nicole Brown also star as co-fire chiefs, Chief Bill Bayani and Chief Faye Fireson, respectively. 

The first season of “Firebuds”, along with the first five episodes of the second season are also available to stream now on Disney+.
