Khloé Kardashian’s “The Girls” Coming Soon To Hulu
“The Kardashians” reality series is one of the most popular shows on Hulu and Disney+, and following that success, we’ve seen Disney team up with the family on many other projects.
During Hulu’s Get Real event this week, it was announced that a new reality series called “The Girls” is in development with Khloé Kardashian, who will star and executive produce the show, which follows her “inner circle of real-life besties” including Natalie Halcro, Khadijah Haqq, Malika Haqq, Yris Palmer, Olivia Pierson and Nicole Williams English.
The new show’s description says that they’re building empires. They’re building families. They’re always unfiltered. Welcome to The Girls, where Khloé Kardashian’s inner circle of real-life besties are raising babies, running businesses, and surviving brutally honest group chats. From surprise proposals to solo parenting, glam getaways to growing pains, this is the new era of reality TV where the chaos is couture — and the bonds are unbreakable.
Bunim/Murray’s Julie Pizzi will be an executive producer alongside Farnaz Farjam, Nicole Blais and Lauren Goldstein.
“The Girls” is set to premiere on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ later this year. As with other Hulu Originals, expect it to also be released globally on Disney+.
Roger’s Take: With the huge success of “The Kardashians” and Hulu’s push into making more reality TV, it makes complete sense to continue that partnership with one of the most popular families in the world. They might not be for everyone, but it delivers results for Disney.
