Last year, Disney announced that they were working on a new revival series of “The Proud Family” called “The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder”.

The new series will focus on Penny Proud and her madcap family: parents Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and her grandmother Suga Mama (and Puff!). There are other extended members of “The Proud Family” including Dijonay Jones, LaCienega Boulevardez and Zoey Howzer, among others.

The new animated family sitcom is currently in production at Disney Television Animation with Academy Award-winning creator/executive producer Bruce W. Smith and executive producer Ralph Farquhar, who led the original series, at the helm, reuniting them with Calvin Brown, Jr. who is co-executive producer and story editor.

No release date for “The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder” has yet been announced, but the original series is available now on Disney+.
