As part of Disney’s “Hallowstream” event, Disney has released a trailer for the upcoming animated special, “Mickey and Friends Trick or Treats” which is going to be premiering on Sunday, 1st October 2023, on Disney Junior, Disney Channel and Disney XD at 7:00 p.m. EDT/PDT.  It will be available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ in the United States, the following day on Monday, 2nd October 2023 (no international release details have been announced yet).

This is a spooktacular event you won’t want to miss! Celebrate Halloween with Mickey Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto and watch Disney’s Mickey and Friends Trick or Treats! Mickey and the gang are off trick-or-treating when Donald spies the spookiest mansion he’s ever seen. With the belief that the spookiest house has the best treats, he convinces his friends to risk a visit. It turns out that the owner of the place is Witch Hazel, who doesn’t have any treats and instead casts a spell on them. With songs and comic spookiness, Mickey and Friends Trick or Treats celebrates the fun of Halloween and the meaning of friendship.

The new special is being produced by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios in association with Disney Junior.  It is going to be directed and produced by David H. Brooks, with John Harvatine IV as the supervising producer.  The special features new original music from Emmy Award-nominated songwriter Beau Black (“The Lion Guard”).
