With schools closed around the globe due to the Coronavirus, you might be looking for some ways to educate your children or even yourself, while you’re home.

Disney+ includes hundreds of documentaries including many from their DisneyNature division and to go along with these movies, Disney has a selection of Educational Guides available, which are suitable for children between grades 2 to 4 (7 to 12 year olds).

Each educational guide is packed full of activities that can be completed after watching the documentary.

Below you will find details on each of the DisneyNature films, along with a PDF document which you can download and print out to use.


DisneyNature Penguins

Disneynature’s all-new feature film “Penguins” is a coming-of-age story about an Adélie penguin named Steve who joins millions of fellow males in the icy Antarctic spring on a quest to build a suitable nest, find a life partner and start a family. None of it comes easily for him, especially considering he’s targeted by everything from killer whales to leopard seals, who unapologetically threaten his happily ever after.

DisneyNature Dolphins Reef

Narrated by Oscar- and Golden Globe-winning actress Natalie Portman, Disneynature’s “Dolphin Reef” tells the spectacular story of Echo, a young Pacific bottlenose dolphin who seems far more interested in exploring the coral reef, and its intriguing inhabitants, than learning to survive in it.

DisneyNature Bears

Filmmakers Alastair Fothergill and Keith Scholey chronicle a year in the lives of an Alaskan brown bear named Sky and her cubs, Scout and Amber. Their saga begins as the bears emerge from hibernation at the end of winter. As time passes, the bear family must work together to find food and stay safe from other predators, especially other bears. Although their world is exciting, it is also risky, and the cubs’ survival hinges on family togetherness.

Wings of Life
