To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Disney, a special Ultimate Collectors edition of the classic animated film, “Cinderella”, is going to be released this spring.

Disney’s animated classic “Cinderella” is beloved by generations of fans for its timeless story, unforgettable characters and iconic artistry. Share the magic as kind and hardworking Cinderella is rewarded with an enchanted evening at the Royal Ball. It just takes the help of her loyal animal friends Jaq and Gus, a wave of her Fairy Godmother’s wand and some “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo.”

This special 4K Ultra-HD Blu-Ray set will be released on March 28th, 2023 and includes a 4K, DVD, Blu-Ray and digital code.   Disney is also offering a special lithograph for Disney Movie Club members, who pre-order this set.

The original film has spawned multiple sequels and also a live-action version, which starred Lily James and Cate Blanchett, which was a massive success for Disney.   The animated “Cinderella” films are available to stream now on Disney+, and the live-action version is also available on the streaming service in many countries.

This new collectors set will be the first classic 4K release of the film.  Hopefully, with this new version being released, eventually, a 4K version of the film will also be added to Disney+. However, these updates are a little more sporadic as to when they happen.

No other details, such as what special features will be included, have been officially announced yet.
