Disney has released a trailer for the upcoming original Spanish series, “Nos vemos en otra vida”, which is going to be released on Disney+ in Spain on March 6th 2024. 

The six-episode series is the adaptation of the book of journalist Manuel Jabois,Nos vemos en esta vida o en la otra”, which is based on the interview that Gabriel Montoya Vidal, Baby, gave him to talk about his connection with the greatest jihadist attack committed on European soil on March 11, 2004. In that year, Baby was a sixteen-year-old teenager who, along with Emilio Trashorras, participated in the transfer of the explosives to be used in Madrid. Baby was the first convicted of the attacks. His testimony was vital in the trial in 2007.

It stars Roberto Gutiérrez in the role of “Direb” in the role of “Baby” teenager, his debut in the performance; Pol López as Emilio Trashorras; Quim Ávila in the role of Baby adult; Tamara Casellas as Baby’s mother, and Mourad Ouani as The Chinese, one of the heads of the jihadist group, among others.

The new show has been written by Paul and Daniel Remón (winners of a Goya a Best Guion Adapted by Intemperie), Roberto Martín Maiztegui (La Ruta) and Guillermo Chapa.    Borja Soler (La Ruta) is also a director on the series.  The show will have its music composed by Olivier Arson (winner of the Goya to Best Original Music by As Bestas and The Kingdom) and Abel Hernandez.

While no international release has yet been announced, as with most international originals, expect to see this film also released globally on Disney+ and also on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.
