Disney has released the trailer for the upcoming Korean drama series called “Low Life”, which is set in 1977, while everyday Koreans struggled to survive, rumors began to spread of an Imperial Chinese shipwreck found off the coast of Korea. Hoping to turn their lives around, Gwanseok and Heedong set off in search of a treasure hidden beneath the sea.

This new series stars Ryu Seungryong, Yang Sejong, Lim Soojung, Kim Euisung, Kim Seongo and Kim Min. It is being directed by Kang Yoon Sung, who has previously worked on the Disney+ Original series “Big Bet” and the film “The Outlaws.”

“Low Life” is set to premiere on Disney+ in many countries around the world on July 16th 2025. As with other Korean original series, expect to see it released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.
