Disney Hosts “Descendants: Wicked Wonderland” World Premiere
Just ahead of the release of the latest instalment in the “Descendants” franchise on Disney+ later this month, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures hosted the world premiere event of “Descendants: Wicked Wonderland” on Tuesday evening.
In this fifth instalment of the “Descendants” franchise, the movie explores what “happily ever after” really means for Red and Chloe following their time-travelling adventures in the 2024 hit film “Descendants: The Rise of Red.” Set primarily in present-day Wonderland, this sequel delves into the warning in the previous movie: There are consequences when you alter the fabric of time.
Stars in attendance included Kylie Cantrall, Malia Baker, Liamani Segura, Brandy, Rita Ora, Awkwafina, Leonardo Nam, Melanie Paxson, Paolo Montalban, Brendon Tremblay, Alexandro Byrd, Kiara Romero, Joel Oulette, Zavien Garrett, Ryan McEwen and Dayton Paradis.

“Descendants: Wicked Wonderland” will premiere on Disney Channel on July 16th 2026, and it will be available the next day on Disney+ around the world.
