“Behemoth” Teaser Trailer Released

Disney has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Searchlight Pictures film, “Behemoth”, which will be coming soon to cinemas on December 4th 2026 and available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ next year.

The film tells the story of a gifted cellist, Alex Serian, who is played by Pedro Pascal, who returns home to Los Angeles after 20 years on the road. Music, which has been the constant, all-consuming river of his life, begins to carry Alex on an adventure that will change him forever.

This new film has been written and directed by Tony Gilroy, who also produced it with Sanne Wohlenberg and John Gilroy.  The movie stars Pedro Pascal, Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor, Alexa Swinton, Kaya Ralls, Erik Griffin, Jobeth Williams, Margarita Levieva, with Hank Azaria and Will Arnett.

Roger’s Take:  It’s not unusual to watch a teaser trailer and not really understand the story, since it’s just there to get your attention, but the teaser trailer for “Behemoth” didn’t tell me much, except that Pedro’s character is involved with a number of women and is one of the best cello players in the world.   For me, Searchlight Pictures can be a bit hit or miss, depending on the topic, and unfortunately, this teaser trailer didn’t fire off any interest in it personally. But that could certainly change by the time the main trailer drops, likely nearer the release date in December.
