Disney+ Original “Extraordinary” Nominated For 3 BAFTA Awards
The nominees for this year’s BAFTA Television Awards have been announced, and Disney+ has picked up a number of nominations for its original programs.
The British Original series, “Extraordinary”, picked up three nominations, including both Máiréad Tyers and Sofia Oxenham in the Best Actress in a Comedy category, plus a nomination for Best Scripted Comedy.
“Extraordinary” is about Jen, who is adrift in a big, confusing world and armed with nothing but a bit of hope and a lot of desperation. Jen begins her journey to find her maybe-superpower. In doing so, she might discover the joy of being just kind of ok.
While the FX series, “A Murder At The End Of The World”, picked up a nomination for Harris Dickinson in the Best Supporting Actor category. And the FX series, “The Bear” was also nominated for the Best International Show award.
“Extraordinary”, “The Bear”, and “A Murder At The End Of The World” are all available to stream now on Disney+. The first season of “Extraordinary” is also available to stream on ITVX.
