Disney has updated its Disney+ official FAQ and has given a small snippet of information regarding Disney Channel content being moved over to the new streaming platform.

The question asked is “ Is anything being removed from the Disney Channel and moving to Disney+?”

With the answer stating that “library content, including past seasons, will move to Disney+.”

Disney+ is set to include over 100 Disney Channel Original Movies and 5000 TV episodes, making it the biggest provider of content to the new streaming service.     And also follows what the UK’s streaming service, DisneyLife, is, since it’s primarily filled with Disney Channel content, including that from Disney Junior and Disney XD.

While Disney is been more actively promoting Disney+ will feature content for the whole family, it’s been much less vocal about showcasing its large amount of Disney Channel content, since they don’t want Disney+ to be viewed as “just for kids”.

However a recent social media post asked “Will Disney+ have DCOMs?”

It also states in the FAQ that DisneyNOW will continue, but the word “moving”, could imply most of the library will be moving away from DisneyNOW onto Disney+.

Disney+ is just a couple of months away, so hopefully we will get a clearer picture of what library content will be available soon.
