Disney Announces New “Worlds Collide Concert Tour”

After the massive success of last year’s “Worlds Collide Concert Tour”, which brought together the worlds of “Descendants,” and “ZOMBIES”, Disney has announced an all-new North American tour, which will see them add music from the “Camp Rock” franchise introduction.

This year’s “Worlds Collide Concert Tour” visits 48 arenas across the U.S., Canada and Mexico, starting from September 25th at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, CA and wraps on December 13th at Arena CDMX in Mexico City, MX.

The tour will feature stars from the “Descendants,”  “ZOMBIES”, and “Camp Rock” film franchises, including Malachi Barton, Liamani Segura, Dara Reneé, Mekonnen Knife, Hudson Stone, Swayam Bhatia, Kiara Romero and Alexandro Byrd.

Last year’s event sold out over 40 arenas, and recently, a concert special was released on Disney+.

A pop concert of the highest caliber, this year’s cast features an exceptionally talented lineup of Disney stars including Malachi Barton (“ZOMBIES 4,” “Camp Rock 3”), Liamani Segura (“Descendants: Wicked Wonderland,” “Camp Rock 3”), Dara Reneé (“Descendants: The Rise of Red”), Mekonnen Knife (“ZOMBIES 4”), Hudson Stone (“Camp Rock 3”), Swayam Bhatia (“ZOMBIES 4”), Kiara Romero (“Descendants: Wicked Wonderland”), and Alexandro Byrd (“Descendants: Wicked Wonderland”). Fans will experience an evening packed with hit songs from all three franchises brought together in a brand-new production with fresh mashups and fan favourite songs. Next-level choreography and electrifying special effects create an evening filled with nonstop delight, fan interactions, and nostalgia. You’ll find last year’s “Worlds Collide Concert Tour” available to stream on Disney+ now.

Roger’s Take: For fans of these franchises, this will no doubt be a fantastic evening out, and hopefully, Disney continues the trend of filming one of the shows for another Disney+ special, especially given the popularity of the three franchises involved.
