The Walt Disney Company has announced that it will be delaying the 2021 D23 Expo, by a year.  The fan event usually takes place every two years and is when Disney announce details on what’s coming next for their movies, TV, video games, theme parks and much.

It will be taking place from September 9th to September 11th 2022 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California.

The D23 Expo 2022 will be highlighting Walt Disney’s 100th anniversary.

At last years D23 Expo, Disney hosted a special Disney+ event which saw the announcement of many shows for the streaming service, including Lizzie McGuire, Obi-Wan Kenobi, She-Hulk, Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel.

While it’s a shame the event has been delayed, these events bring fans from around the world together to celebrate everything Disney, which just isn’t possible with the current Coronavirus situation.

What do you think of this delay?
