The classic 1990s Disney movie, Hocus Pocus, is one of the most popular movies on Disney+ this month and while talk of a sequel has been picking up pace lately, Bette Midler has now confirmed that her, along with Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimi are returning for a new movie on Disney+.

Bette Midler has been heavily promoting her upcoming annual costume gala, which is taking place virtually on October 30th.  Speaking with Fox 5 New York, Bette Midler said:

“They want to make a movie, they’ve asked us if we were interested and of course all of us said yes, I’m game, I’m totally game.”

No official release date has yet been confirmed and production is expected to begin in Los Angeles and Massachusetts next year.

Hocus Pocus is available to stream on Disney+ now and tells the story of three witches, who are resurrected after 300 years to exact revenge and begin a reign of terror after Max, a young boy who moves to Salem with his family, lights a cursed Candle of Black Flame.
