“Spider-Man” Gives Disney+ Viewing Boost On The Nielsen Streaming Chart

Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States from August 3rd 2026, to August 9th 2026. There are four different charts: Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies, and a combined total chart.

Disney’s latest release, “The Devil Wears Prada 2”, continues to do strong numbers on the movie chart, along with people rewatching the Tom Holland “Spider-Man” films, while the latest film, “Brand New Day” explodes at the box office, highlighting the continued trend of franchises getting a massive boost whenever the next instalment is released. 

Disney continues to hold a large share of the acquired charts, with its biggest hits, including “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Bluey”, “Family Guy”, and “Bob’s Burgers”, still drawing viewers on Hulu and Disney+.
