This coming December, there will be plenty of new shows heading to Disney+ including new shows from Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar, plus there will be lots of new additions via Hulu.

Here’s the rundown:


Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

“Skeleton Crew” follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy, crossing paths with the likes of Jod Na Nawood, the mysterious character played by Law. Finding their way home—and meeting unlikely allies and enemies—will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.

The first two episodes will be released on Disney+ on Monday 2nd December 2024 at 6pm PT / 9pm ET, with a new episode being released each Tuesday evening.


Dream Productions

Taking place in between the events of “Inside Out” and “Inside Out 2,” “Dream Productions” is an all-new series about the studio inside Riley’s mind where dreams really do come true—every night, on time and on budget. Riley is growing up and when her memories need some extra processing, Joy and the rest of the Core Emotions send them to Dream Productions. Acclaimed director Paula Persimmon (voice of Paula Pell) faces a nightmare of her own: Trying to create the next hit dream after being paired up with Xeni (voice of Richard Ayoade), a smug daydream director looking to step up into the big leagues of night dreams.

All four episodes of this limited series will be released on Wednesday, 11th December 2024.


Marvel’s What If? – Season 3

The story continues the journey as The Watcher guides viewers through the vast multiverse, introducing brand new and familiar faces throughout the MCU. The series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles.

The first episode will be released on Disney+ on Sunday, 22nd December 2024, with a new episode being released each day for nine days over the holidays.


Doctor Who: Joy to the World

When Joy checks into a London hotel in 2024, she opens a secret doorway to the Time Hotel — discovering danger, dinosaurs and the Doctor. But a deadly plan is unfolding across the Earth, just in time for Christmas.

This new holiday special will arrive on Disney+ around the world (and on the BBC in the UK) on Christmas Day.


Wild Crime: Complete Season 4

“Wild Crime: Eleven Skulls” delves into the haunting 2012 disappearance of Samantha Koenig, an 18-year-old Anchorage barista last seen leaving her place of work with an unknown man on a dark winter night. The search for Koenig leads FBI and police from Alaska’s wilderness to the remote forests of Washington’s Olympic National Park, all the way to rural Vermont, exposing a killer’s terrifying trail of crimes. As investigators follow the twisted clues of this case, they uncover the identity of Israel Keyes, a psychopathic serial killer with a hidden life of violence and a dark path he forged while growing up off the grid. Ultimately, a search of Keyes’ prison cell reveals what investigators believe to be the chilling truth.

This new documentary will arrive on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on December 5th 2024.


Jung Kook: I Am Still – The Original

Interviews, never-before-seen footage and electrifying concert performances provide insight into the extraordinary rise of global superstar Jung Kook.

All three episodes of this BTS documentary will be coming to Disney+ on Tuesday 3rd December 2024.


Light Shop

An adaptation of Kangfull’s hit webtoon of the same name, “Light Shop” follows six strangers, each grappling with a traumatic event from their past. As they go about their daily lives, they slowly come to realize that something is very wrong, and they just can’t figure out what. Desperate for answers and searching for a way back to normalcy, the strangers are drawn to a mysterious light shop at the end of a foreboding alleyway, which holds the key to their past, present and future. Full of mystery and intrigue, “Light Shop” promises to take viewers on an emotional adventure through its unique.

The first four episodes will be released on Wednesday, 4th December 2024, with a new episode being released each week on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.


FX’s What We Do in the Shadows (Season 6)

Three vampires, Nandor, Colin Robinson and Nadja, struggle to keep up with the duties and responsibilities of everyday life as they reside in an apartment in New York.

New episodes are being released each week on FX, Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ and the entire series will arrive on Disney+ in the UK on Tuesday, 17th December 2024.


Lost Treasures of the Bible

This immersive series follows archaeological teams across the Middle East as they embark on a new season of excavations, uncovering the cities and civilizations featured in the Bible. From the lost city of Exodus in Egypt to the epic Tower of Babel in Iraq, their discoveries shed new light on the Bible’s most famous stories. Stunning CGI and embedded cameras reveal treasures buried for millennia.

This new Nat Geo documentary series will arrive on Friday, 20th December 2024


The Bravest Night – Season 2

Cedric, a pumpkin farmer turned knight, has embarked on many quests – from saving towns to defeating monsters. Now, he’s started a new chapter with his prince charming and their daughter Nia, who aspires to become a knight just like him. Cedric has battled trolls, witches and even dragons. But, his greatest challenge yet is teaching Nia how to navigate the path to knighthood while being true to oneself

The second season of animated series will arrive on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ on Friday, 13th December 2024.


The Simpsons Christmas Double Episode

“O C’mon All Ye Faithful” – In this Disney+ exclusive double episode, the residents of Springfield search for Christmas cheer.

This double-episode special will arrive on Disney+ on Tuesday, 17th December 2024.


Bluey Minisodes

The series follows Bluey, a lovable and inexhaustible blue heeler dog who lives with her Mum, Dad and little sister, Bingo. 

Six new episodes will be released on Disney+ on Monday, 9th December 2024.


Invisible

Based on the novel by Eloy Moreno, twelve-year-old Capi has suffered a terrible accident that has left him with severe post-traumatic stress disorder. Neither the school, nor his friends, nor his family can explain what has happened. However, the psychologist who treats him is determined to delve into his story and discover the reasons that led him to this situation. Little by little, Capi begins to trust him and tells him that he has the power of invisibility, and that the terrible nightmares that haunt him every night are linked to the monsters and the dragon that haunt him.

This international original will arrive on Disney+ on Friday, 13th December 2024.


9-1-1: Lonestar – Season 5

Nearly 20 years ago, Owen Strand was the lone survivor of his Manhattan firehouse on 9/11. In the wake of the attack, Owen had the unenviable task of rebuilding his station. After a similar tragedy happens to a firehouse in Austin, Owen, along with his troubled firefighter son, T.K., takes his progressive philosophies of life and firefighting down to Texas, where he helps them start anew. On the surface, Owen is all about big-city style and swagger, but underneath he struggles with a secret he hides from the world – one that could very well end his life.

New episodes of this final season are being released each week on Disney+ in the United Kingdom.


Tracker – Season 2

Justin Hartley returns in TRACKER as Colter Shaw, a trusted lone-wolf survivalist who, driven by the troubles of his past, uses his instincts to find the missing and collect rewards. Supported by lawyer Reenie Green (Fiona Rene), his business handler Velma Bruin (Abby McEnany) and tech expert Bobby Exley (Eric Graise), Colter will stop at nothing to get the job done.

New episodes are being released each week on Disney+ in Canada and the United Kingdom.
