Disney has announced that the 20th Century Studios film, “Ad Astra” is coming to Disney+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Wednesday, 10th May.  The film had previously been announced for Friday 12th May, 2023,

Brad Pitt gives a powerful performance in this sci-fi thriller set in space. When a mysterious life-threatening event strikes Earth, astronaut Roy McBride (Pitt) goes on a dangerous mission across an unforgiving solar system to uncover the truth about his missing father (Tommy Lee Jones) and his doomed expedition that now, 30 years later, threatens the universe.

It has been directed by James Gray and written by James Gray & Ethan Gross. The film has produced by Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, James Gray, Anthony Katagas, Rodrigo Teixeira, and Arnon Milchan. Also starring in the film include Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler, and Donald Sutherland.
