“Merry Berry Love” Coming Soon To Disney+

At a special APAC showcase event at Hong Kong Disneyland, it was announced that a new original series from Korea and Japan is currently in production.

The new series is currently going by the working title of “Merry Berry Love” and will star Ji Changwook (The Manipulated) and Mio Imada (Tokyo Revengers).

This new romantic comedy follows a down-on-his-luck Korean spatial designer, Lee Yubin (played by Ji), and a strawberry farmer, Karin Shirahama (played by Imada), who find love on a remote Japanese island.

“Merry Berry Love” is being directed by Kim Soojung (Semantic Error) and written by Lee Jaeyoon (Divorce Insurance).  It is being developed and produced by CJ ENM, with Japan’s Nippon TV onboard as co-producer.

The new series is scheduled to debut on Disney+ in 2026.
