“Percy Jackson and Olympians” Season 2 Trailer Released
Disney has released a trailer and details on the upcoming second season of the hit fantasy series, “Percy Jackson and Olympians,” which is coming to Disney+ and Hulu later this year.
Based on The Sea of Monsters, the second book in Rick Riordan’s beloved best-selling series, the new season promises thrilling new monsters, action-packed mayhem and higher stakes than ever as the young demigods embark on a perilous quest to save Camp Half-Blood and their friend Grover.
After Camp Half-Blood’s protective border is breached, Percy Jackson embarks on an epic odyssey into the Sea of Monsters in search of his best friend Grover and the one thing that may save the camp — the legendary Golden Fleece. With help from Annabeth, Clarisse and his newfound cyclops half-brother Tyson, Percy’s survival becomes essential to stopping Luke, the Titan Kronos, and their impending plan to bring down Camp Half-Blood — and ultimately, Olympus.
Season three of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” is also currently in production in Vancouver.

Roger’s Take: The second season trailer looks like a lot of fun, and I’m looking forward to seeing where this show goes. I also find it interesting that the show is now coming to Hulu, as this will help boost viewership for the show, while also utilising the cost of the show and get Hulu customers used to watching Disney+ content ahead of their merger next year.
