It’s the start of a brand new week and time to take a look at what’s coming to Disney+ in Canada this week, which includes the return of “Doctor Who” with a brand new serise, plus the release of a remastered version of the classic Beatles film, “Let It Be”, plus lots more.

FX’s The Veil (New Episode)

“The Veil” is an international spy thriller series that explores the surprising and fraught relationship between two women who play a deadly game of truth and lies on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London. One woman has a secret, while the other is on a mission to reveal it before thousands of lives are lost. In the shadows, mission controllers at the U.S. CIA and French DGSE must put differences aside, as difficult as it may be, and work together to avert potential disaster before it is too late.

The Beatles: Let It Be

This documentary from 1970 has been restored and captures the writing and recording of The Beatles penultimate album, “Let It Be.” The film includes the classic rooftop concert in London, which was the last live show from the group.


Under The Bridge – 2 Episode Premiere

“Under the Bridge” is based on acclaimed author Rebecca Godfrey’s book about the 1997 true story that took place on Vancouver Island, B.C of fourteen-year-old Reena Virk (Vritika Gupta) who went to join friends at a party and never returned home. Through the eyes of Godfrey (Riley Keough) and a local police officer (Lily Gladstone), the series takes us into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder — revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer.


Lost Treasures of Egypt (S3 & S4)

Archaeologists hunt for and closely examine some of Egypt’s lost treasures in the Valley of the Kings.


Photographer (All Episodes)

Explores the famous photographers Campbell Addy, Cristina Mittermeier, Paul Nicklen, Muhammed Muheisen, Anand Varma, Dan Winters and Krystle Wright, who have made impacts in various types of photography.


Wicked Tuna (S12)

The most skilled fishermen test themselves in the freezing waters of the North Atlantic to find the rare bluefin tuna fish.


Marvel’s “X-Men 97” – New Episode

“X-Men’97” revisits the iconic era of the 1990s as The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future.


We Were The Lucky Ones – New Episode

With Sol and Nechuma in danger, Halina attempts to find refuge for her parents. Mila learns to assimilate in Warsaw. Bella searches for solace at the AVL Factory while Jakob faces life alone in the Radom ghetto.


House of the Owl (New Episodes)

Japan’s master fixer discovers that fixing his family is harder than fixing a country.


Blood Free (New Episodes)

Ending millions of years of humans eating animal meat, BF now dominates the genetically engineered cultured meat market. However, there are people inside BF and outsiders who begin to doubt the path taken by BF CEO Yoon Ja Yoo.

The Simpsons – May The 12th Be With You

It’s Mother’s Day and Marge Simpson joins the moms of Disney+ on a special holiday outing that turns into an epic galactic adventure filled with heroes, villains and a surprising old friend. New key art for the upcoming short can be downloaded here.


Past Lies (Las Largas Sombras)

It is the story of a group of women whose stable lives of success are suddenly shaken by the appearance of the remains of one of their high school classmates, who disappeared during the end-of-course trip to Mallorca twenty-five years earlier.

Chief Detective 1958 (New Episode)

Tell the story of Park Young Han (Lee Je-Hoon), a young detective from Hwangcheon. He is a highly enthusiastic detective with the highest arrest rate for catching petty thieves.

Park Young Han becomes angry seeing the fact that human dignity has been violated and he struggles to confront it. He works together with his three detective colleagues at the Jongnam Police Office in Seoul to destroy corrupt authority norms.


The Fable – New Episode

The legendary hitman, Fable, takes a cool, comical, slightly eccentric one-year hiatus from killing.


Mission: Yozakura Family (New Episode)

Taiyo Asano, the ‘Ultimate Introvert’, joins a spy family to survive a hit list.
