With the first two episodes of “Star Wars: The Acolyte” now available to stream on Disney+, Hasbro has released a first look at some of the new action figures from the show that will be heading to stores later this Fall.

At the end of the High Republic era, a former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront turn out to be far more sinister and personal than anticipated. I

The new action figures include some new additions to the Black Series and Vintage Collections.   Osha Aniseya and Mae both get a Black Series version, in addition to a special Holocomm version.   While many of the other characters are going to be available in the Vintage Collection format in a special Retro box set

Both the Black Series Osha Aniseya and Mae action figures will be priced at $24.99, while the Holocomm version will be priced at $27.99.

The Retro pack is inspired by the original 1970s Kenner Star Wars figures and these 3.75-inch-scale figures are detailed to look like the Mother Aniseya, Jedi Knight Yord Fandar, Mae (Assassin), Jedi Master Sol, Osha Aniseya, and Jedi Padawan Jecki Lon characters as they appeared in the series. These figures feature classic Kenner branding, as well as packaging treated with a weathered look.   It will be priced at $59.99.

Here’s a look at some of the figures from this first wave:

Roger’s Take: With Lucasfilm doing a good job in hiding the twins ahead of the series premiere, it makes sense why the reveals are happening now, though I can’t help but feel Hasbro needs to get better at getting these toys out in stores or at least available online while the hype for the show is around, as by the Fall, people will be less interested. I also think making a special box set for the vintage collector’s figures is probably a good idea as these figures are only for adult collectors since, let’s be honest, very few kids are going to be asking for a vintage action figure of the Mother and are likely to become peg warmers are stores across the globe.

Will you be adding any of these figures to your collection?  Let me know on social media!
