With half of the brand new Star Wars series, “The Acolyte” out now on Disney+, some brand new character posters for the new original show have been released.

Set in the era of the High Republic, “The Acolyte” follows an investigation into a shocking crime spree that pits a respected Jedi Master against a dangerous warrior from his past.

The new character posters highlight Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh (Rebecca Henderson) with her purple lightsaber, alongside Jedi Padawan Torbin (Dean-Charles Chapman) and the captain of the #YordHorde, Jedi Knight Yord Fandar (Charlie Barnett). Among the rogues, we find a new character card for Osha (Amandla Stenberg), braving the harsh world of Carlac with Pip by her side, and Qimir (Manny Jacinto), prepared to help her sister Mae from Olega to Khofar. And the twins’ mothers, Mother Aniseya (Jodie Turner-Smith) and Mother Koril (Margarita Levieva) make a stunning debut in their purple Ascension robes.

Leslye Headland created the series, based on Star Wars by George Lucas, and serves as an executive producer along with Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King and Jason Micallef. Charmaine DeGraté and Kor Adana are the co-executive producers. Rayne Roberts, Damian Anderson, Eileen Shim and Rob Bredow are the producers.

The first four episodes of “The Acolyte” are available to stream on Disney+ and a new episode wil be released on Tuesday at 6pm PT/ 9pm ET.
