The nominees for this year’s Television Critics Association awards have been announced, and Disney has picked up the most nominations across its studios, including FX, ABC, National Geographic, and Disney+.

FX continues to showcase its value to Disney by making some of the most critically acclaimed shows of the year, with “The Bear” and “Shogun” both picking up five nominations each, including Program of the Year.  With “Fargo” and “Reservation Dogs” also picked up three nominations each.  “Welcome to Wrexham” also picked up a nomination.

ABC’s “Abbott Elementary” also received two nominations, with “Jimmy Kimmel Live! “ getting another nomination.   National Geographic also picked up a nomination for “Queens”.

Disney+ received six nominations for “Bluey,” “Percy Jackson and the Olympians,” “Renegade Nell,” “Doctor Who,” and “X-Men ’97.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Friday, 12th July 2024 at The Langham Huntington in Pasadena.
