Disney has announced that thirteen new episodes from the second season of the hit animated series, “Firebuds”, will be coming to Disney+ in the United States on Wednesday 24th July 2024.

Set in a fantastical world where talking vehicles live, work and play with the humans who drive them, Disney Branded Television’s “Firebuds” follows a boy and his firetruck as they team up with their first responder friends to help others in their community with problems, both big and small. Whether rescuing a young car that’s stuck in a tree, tracking down lost Dalmatian puppies or helping their neighbours stock up on emergency supplies during a blackout, the Firebuds highlight the importance of teamwork and helping your fellow citizens. Each episode is comprised of two 11-minute stories and features at least one new original song.

Some of the new episodes heading to Disney+ include:

• Wayne’s Trains and Automobiles/Jazzy Buds – The Firebuds rescue a train after Wayne tries to steal his cargo. Jazzy forms her own rescue team called Jazzy-Buds.
• The Drive Along/Rescue Club Rangers – The Firebuds join Axl’s “trambulance” dad on a ride along. The Firebuds try to earn Rescue Club badges by completing a forest rescue course.
• Fire Tower Frenzy/What’s Cookin – The Firebuds visit a mountaintop fire tower to help look out for forest fires. Flash teams up with Chef Fernando and Chef Al in a bake-and-race competition for charity.
• Woodland Wiley/P.I. Piston – The Firebuds take back a mirror Wiley steals while learning outdoor skills in the woods. Piston solves the mystery of the disappearing instruments during music class.
• Mayor for the Day/Dozer Disaster – Piston wins a chance to be mayor for the day but gets carried away, making Gearbox Grove the safest town ever. The Firebuds try to save a grove of trees from being bulldozed.
• Haywire Halo/Smorgasburger – The Firebuds perform their first aerial rescue during a mountain hike. Flash wants to open a booster shake stand at a food truck festival.
• Windy Wheels – The Firebuds, June, and Vance take on a wind storm.
• Full-Time Flash/Bubba Trouble – Flash tries to help too many of his friends at the same time. Bubba dreams of becoming a storm chaser.
• Scarlett & Skid/Alpine Adventure
• Guac and Roll/All-Terrain Trek
• The Camp Fire!

These new episodes have been airing on the Disney Junior channel over the past few months and will be dropped in a batch on Disney+.

The lead voice cast includes Declan Whaley as Bo, Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Flash, Vivian Vencer as Violet, Lily Sanfelippo as Axl, JeCobi Swain as Jayden, and Caleb Paddock as Piston. Lou Diamond Phillips and Yvette Nicole Brown also star as co-fire chiefs, Chief Bill Bayani and Chief Faye Fireson.
