Just ahead of the release of the new Disney+ Original series, “Star Wars: The Acolyte”, Disney hosted a special screening event at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California.

In “The Acolyte,” an investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems….

Many of the stars of the series were in attendance at the event including Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean Charles-Chapman, Carrie-Anne Moss and Margarita Levieva.  Also joining them were filmmakers Leslye Headland, Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff King and Jason Micallef.

This brand new series debuts on Disney+, with the first two episodes on Tuesday, 4th June 2024, with a new episode being released each week.
