Best New Series Coming To Disney+ In April
This coming April, Disney is releasing plenty of new shows onto Disney+ around the world, with a variety of new originals and much more from around the world. There will also be new episodes of multiple originals, including “Star Wars: The Bad Batch”, “X-Men ’97”, “Sand Land: The Series”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, and “Shogun”
With the launch of Hulu On Disney+, Hulu content is now available within Disney+ in the United States for Disney Streaming Bundled subscribers. Internationally, these shows will also be available on Disney+.
Here are some of the highlights of what’s coming to Disney+ in April 2024.
Secrets Of The Octopus – National Geographic
Octopuses are like aliens on Earth: three hearts, blue blood, and the ability to squeeze through a space the size of their eyeball. But there is so much more to these weird and wonderful animals. Highly intelligent, octopuses can use tools, transform their bodies to mimic other animals and even communicate with different species, including us. The secrets of the octopus are more extraordinary than ever imagined.
This new National Geographic series will be released on Hulu and Disney+ in many countries around the world, including the US, UK and Australia, on Earth Day on April 22nd 2024.
Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story – Hulu/Star
The four-part, all access docuseries chronicles the epic past and uncertain future of one of the most recognizable bands in the world and its front-man Jon Bon Jovi. A 40-year odyssey of rock and roll idolatry on the precipice as a vocal injury threatens to bring everything to a screeching halt.
All four episodes of “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story” will be released on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ and Disney+ internationally on April 26th 2024.
FX’s The Veil – Hulu/Star
FX’s The Veil explores the surprising and fraught relationship between two women who play a deadly game of truth and lies on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London. One woman has a secret, the other a mission to reveal it before thousands of lives are lost. In the shadows, mission controllers at the CIA and French DGSE must put differences aside and work together to avert potential disaster.
The first episode of “The Veil” arrives on Hulu & Hulu On Disney+ and also on Disney+ in Canada/Australia/New Zealand on April 30th 2024. With new episodes being released each week.
Blood Free – Hulu/Star
The series is set in the year 2025, where instead of slaughtering animals for their meat, BF, a biotechnology company, uses its technology to provide the world with cultured meat. Yun Jayu is a businesswoman who has successfully transformed BF into a global company. However, those who are after her and her company continue to grow in number, and she is repeatedly subjected to death threats and terrorism. As a result, BF hires Woo Chaewoon, a former commissioned officer, to protect her. Suspiciously enough, Chaewoon does everything Jayu needs with perfect timing. Could he truly be just a bodyguard? Secrets and suspicions grow within BF and among those involved. What kinds of secrets do they have, and what are their motives?
The first two episodes will be released on Hulu & Hulu On Disney+ and also on Disney+ internationally on Saturday, 10th April 2024, with new episodes released weekly.
The Fable – Hulu/Star
The series follows a legendary killer for hire called “Fable” who has spent his entire life training to become the world’s best assassin. Famed within the underworld for his skillset, Fable knows nothing except how to deliver a quick death. After finishing off the year with more confirmed kills than ever before, Fable suddenly finds himself at a loss when the head of his crime family orders him to lay low and not kill anyone for a year. Suddenly uprooted, moved to Osaka and surrounded by trigger-happy criminals, Fable will be forced to control his temperament and adapt to the ordinary if he wants to survive.
This brand new anime series from Japan premieres on Hulu & Hulu On Disney+ and also on Disney+ internationally on Saturday, April 6th 2024, with new episodes released weekly.
Vanderpump Villa – Hulu/Star
Each scintillating episode follows the elite staff as they try to provide luxurious, once-in-a-lifetime, Vanderpump-curated experiences for guests while dealing with rivalries, romances, and raucous misadventures that come from living and working together 24/7.
