When Is “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” Coming To Disney+
This Summer, Marvel Studios is releasing its next instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps”, in cinemas around the world.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, the film introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.
The action adventure also stars Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich, Natasha Lyonne and Sarah Niles. Directed by Matt Shakman, produced by Kevin Feige and executive produced by Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis and Tim Lewis.
When Is “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” Released?
“The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is being released exclusively in cinemas on July 25th 2025.
When Will “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” Be On Disney+?
Currently, no official Disney+ release date has yet been announced.
Disney now prioritises theatrical releases and generally keeps movies in cinemas for at least three months, especially with big-budget blockbusters like “Deadpool & Wolverine”, “Captain America: Brave New World” and “Inside Out 2”, usually taking over a hundred days to go from its initial theatrical release until a streaming release.
For that reason, I wouldn’t expect to see “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” arrive on Disney+ until at some point in November, just in time for Thanksgiving, and it will likely be available on Disney+ around the same time as when the film is out on physical media!
