What’s New On Disney+ | Under The Bridge (US)
It’s Wednesday and time to take a look at what’s been added onto Disney+ and Hulu today, which includes a brand new drama series starring Lily Gladstone, plus new episodes of Disney+ Originals, “X-Men ’97” and “Star Wars: The Bad Batch”.
Here’s the rundown:
Under The Bridge: Series Premiere – HULU
“Under the Bridge” is based on acclaimed author Rebecca Godfrey’s book about the 1997 true story that took place on Vancouver Island, B.C of fourteen-year-old Reena Virk (Vritika Gupta) who went to join friends at a party and never returned home. Through the eyes of Godfrey (Riley Keough) and a local police officer (Lily Gladstone), the series takes us into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder — revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch – Episode 313 “Into the Breach””
In the epic final season of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch,” the Batch will have their limits tested in the fight to reunite with Omega as she faces challenges of her own inside a remote Imperial science lab. With the group fractured and facing threats from all directions, they will have to seek out unexpected allies, embark on dangerous missions, and muster everything they have learned to free themselves from the Empire.
Marvel’s “X-Men 97” – New Episode
“X-Men’97” revisits the iconic era of the 1990s as The X-Men, a band of mutants who use their uncanny gifts to protect a world that hates and fears them, are challenged like never before, forced to face a dangerous and unexpected new future.
Drain the Oceans: Season 6
Maritime mysteries – old and new – come to life in this 10-episode series, combining scientific data and digital re-creations to reveal shipwrecks, treasures, and sunken cities on the bottom of lakes, seas and oceans around the world. Innovative technology allows viewers to see what lies on the floors of large bodies of water such as the Gulf of Mexico, the Nile, the Indian Ocean, the Baltic Sea and the Atlantic Ocean as if they had been drained. Then, in a quest to explain natural wonders and man-made catastrophes, stories tell of how vessels sank, what ancient geological formations reveal about life on Earth, where Nazi secrets now reside, and why so many continue to search for the legendary city of Atlantis.
Dr. Oakley, Yukon Vet: Season 12
Spanning thousands of acres and incorporating hundreds of species of animals; Michelle Oakley’s veterinary practice is Yukon tough. There is no such thing as a typical day in Michelle’s practice. House calls can range from expelling dogs anal glands to getting chased down by the very large Artic Muskox. Accompanied by her teenage daughters and armed with humor as sharp as scalpel, Michelle deftly juggles being a full time Veterinarian, wife and doctor; taking us into unexplored and unexamined regions of the Yukon.
PJ Masks: Power Heroes (S1, 8 episodes)
During the day, Amaya, Connor and Greg lead totally normal lives, but they transform into superheroes during the night and use their powers to fight villains and solve mysteries.
The Cleaning Lady – New Episode – HULU
Ramona grows increasingly more apprehensive of Thony’s involvement in Arman’s life and suspects Thony and Nadia of jeopardizing her and Jorge’s plans. Meanwhile, Jeremy volunteers to install security equipment at Fiona’s house
Alert: Missing Persons Unit – New Episode – HULU
A popular travel influencer goes missing and the MPU race to find her as a hurricane rages and a state of emergency is declared. Mike and Wayne get closer as Helen connects with someone unexpectedly in the aftermath of Nikki’s bachelorette party
The Secret Score (La Partitura Secreta)
This series tells the story of Maya, a 16-year-old girl who enrolls in a prestigious conservatory looking for answers to the enigmatic disappearance of her boyfriend Leo, a student at the renowned music school. Along with a group of her classmates, Maya discovers an intriguing score that, when interpreted, grants them strange powers. They will try to keep the discovery a secret,not knowing that danger awaits them because someone else in the conservatory is looking for the sheet music and has dark intentions.
The Impossible Heir – New Episode – HULU
An ambitious boy grows up and joins an intense war of desires to become a star of his own.
Sand Land: The Series (New Episode) – HULU
From creator Akira Toriyama: A perilous trek across the desert in search of the Legendary Spring.
