It’s Friday and Disney+ has lots of new additions in Australia and New Zealand including the new Disney+ Original series Prop Culture, plus the penultimate episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.  There are also lots of new additions to the Disney+ library.

Here is the rundown:

Prop Culture (Global)

This anthology series that takes a unique look at beloved films—including Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Mary Poppins, The Muppet Movie, Tron, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit—through the props and costumes (now modern ‘artifacts’) that made them unique. We’ll hear from the craftspeople who created them, the actors who interacted with them, and the collectors/archives who own and cherish them in the show, which will be hosted by film historian/collector Dan Lanigan. All 8 episodes of this new show will drop on May 1st.

Prop Culture Episode 101 – “Mary Poppins”

Prop Culture Episode 102 – “Tron”
Dan enters the world of “Tron” and restores one of the movie’s most memorable props.

Prop Culture Episode 105 – “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids”
Join Dan as he explores the futuristic inventions from “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.”

Prop Culture Episode 106 – “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe”
Dan investigates props from “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.”

Prop Culture Episode 107 – “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”
Dan uncovers the secrets behind Walt Disney’s OSCAR® winning film “Who Framed Roger Rabbit.”

Prop Culture Episode 108 – “The Muppet Movie”

Pixar in Real Life – Monsters Inc: Laugh Energy

Real people try out monster technology to generate electricity from laughs and screams.


One Day At Disney Episode 122 – “Robin Roberts: Good Morning America Co-Anchor”

Follow along as GMA Co-Anchor Robin Roberts takes us behind-the-scenes of America’s favorite morning show. From covering breaking world news on a daily basis to chronicling her personal health battle on air in 2012, Robin shows what it takes to be a part of the well-oiled machine that sets the tone for America’s day.


Be Our Chef Episode 106 – “Slimy Yet Satisfying” (Global)

In this “Lion King” inspired challenge, the Perez family and Platt family are competing to rule the land as they figure out a way to include veggies in a dish that’s fit for the whole family. Just as Simba didn’t want to eat bugs at first, kids sometimes don’t want to eat their vegetables. These families will be tasked with incorporating vegetables into a dish that they all will find satisfying.


America’s Funniest Home Videos (S13)

Viewers send in home-made videos capturing comical situations, mishaps and staged pranks. The studio audience votes for the funniest video, which wins attractive prizes.

Birth of Europe (S1)

This 3 episode series details the epic story of the origin of Europe – a place with a surprisingly diverse nature stretching from the snowy far north to the coast of Africa. Defined by volcanoes, ice ages, the collision of continents and even asteroids, the legacy of human history masks its awe-inspiring geological past. Born in the early days of the Earth, Europe is constantly being affected by the powerful forces of Mother Nature. It was forged in the fire and crushed by the collision of continents, carved by water and fire.


Bride of Boogedy

In this sequel to the made-for-television Disney family classic, Mr. Boogedy, the Davis family deals with the return of Mr. Boogedy and his never-ending hunt for Widow Marion as well as a rival gag-store competitor who really has it out for Carleton. Meanwhile, the town of Lucifer Falls is planning a big carnival which the mean Mr. Lynch seeks to ruin- if Boogedy doesn’t see to that first.


Buried Secrets of the Bible with Albert Lin (S1)

Scientist Albert Lin investigates two biblical stories about the Parting of the Red Sea and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.


CAR SOS (S1 – S6)

Continuing their mission to save every decayed classic car they can get their hands on, the Car S.O.S. crew is back for their third series. Parts-blagging Petrol Head Tim Shaw and Master Mechanic Fuzz Townshend are determined to hunt down charismatic cars with deserving owners and get their pride and joy up and running and back on the road… where they belong.


Disney Kirby Buckets (S1-S3)

This single-camera animation/live-action hybrid comedy revolves around Kirby Buckets, a kid who dreams of being the biggest animator in the world. His drawings take shape as he and his best friends, Fish and Eli, go on outrageous adventures.


How to Play Baseball

It’s time to teach fans how to play baseball.


In Beaver Valley

A nature outing. Beavers build dams that create an ecosystem for other animals. Moose, deer, chipmunks, birds, and various animals make appearances.


Lost Treasures of Egypt (S1)

An immersive, action-packed and discovery-led series following International teams of Egyptologists as they unearth the world’s richest seam of ancient archaeology – Egypt’s Valley of the Kings.


Love & Vets (S1)

With three animal hospitals, husband-and-wife veterinarians Dr. Will Draper and Dr. Fran Tyler divide and conquer to treat the pets that flock to their practice. But running a successful vet practice while juggling the demands of a busy family life – which includes their four teens, four dogs, two cats, two restaurants and grandma down the street – can lead to some hairy situations!


Nature’s Half Acre

The variety of wildlife in a meadow – particularly insects and flowers – is observed over the course of a year, through the use of microphotography and time-lapse photography.


Primal Survivor (S1-S4)

Hazen Audel embarks on an epic trek that will mirror a traditional Berber nomad journey across the Saharan desert cauldron to an oasis.


Prowlers of the Everglades

Prowlers of the Everglades is a 1953 American short documentary film directed by James Algar. The film was produced by Ben Sharpsteen as part of the True-Life Adventures series of nature documentaries.


Secrets of the Zoo (1 & 2)

One of the largest and most popular zoos in the US, Ohio’s renowned Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and its conservation park The Wilds, houses more than 10,000 animals on 12,000 acres. It’s also the part-time home of beloved wildlife guru Jack Hanna, the zoo’s director emeritus.
