September sees Disney add lots of new content onto their streaming service in Canada, including the original movie, “Secret Society Of Second Born Royal” along with other new additions to the Disney+ library including Christopher Robin.

Friday 4th September

Mulan

To save her ailing father from serving in the Imperial Army, a fearless young woman disguises herself as a man to battle northern invaders in China.

Earth To Ned (Global)

From the Jim Henson Company comes a late-night talk show hosted by alien commander Ned and his lieutenant Cornelius, who call off the invasion of Earth after they fall in love with human culture. Broadcasting from the bridge of their spaceship, hidden deep underground, Ned and Cornelius interview Earth’s greatest resource, celebrities. With the help of the ship’s artificial intelligence, BETI, and the destructive CLODs, Ned must keep his show a secret from his home planet or suffer the wrath of his father, the Admiral of the Galactic Fleet. All 10 episodes will be dropping on September 4th.


Weird But True – Episode 304 – Germs (Global)

Hosts Carly and Charlie are nominated for a Daytime Crafty Award! The awards ceremony is just around the corner, and Casey is helping them with their costumes…until she comes down with a cold! To avoid getting sick from the germs Casey is spreading throughout HQ, Carly and Charlie must understand all there is to know about germs. They head to Germfree Laboratories and Mushroom Mountain to examine good hygiene and health practices.


Pixar In Real Life – Episode 111 – “Coco: Abuelita Says No Music” – Finale

Abuelita shakes her chancla at the street performers in Washington Square Park and asks real New Yorkers to help her find her grandson. She eventually finds Miguel playing guitar, and he begs her to let him play just one song. The other street performers join in, creating a performance so delightful that even Abuelita can’t help but clap along.


Muppets Now (Episode 6) Finale – “Socialized”

Muppets Now social media intern, Robin The Frog, makes Scooter co-moderator of the social media accounts. Scooter attempts to carry out this week’s upload amidst a flood of alerts, requests, and notifications. Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant, Beaker, receive legal lectures and accidental assistance from Muppet attorney, Joe The Legal Weasel. The Swedish Chef faces his competitor, Marina Michelson, to prove his family recipe makes the most magnificent meatball. Fozzie Bear talks shop with fellow comedian Seth Rogen, while babysitting some bad babies. Linda Cardellini and Taye Diggs indulge Miss Piggy more than usual for this installment of Lifestyle with Miss Piggy


George and A.J.

Nurses George and A.J. witness Carl’s house floating away and see other senior citizens making their own escapes.


The Incredible Dr. Pol (S15)

Dr Jan Pol has been a practicing veterinarian for more than half his life. In 1981 he and his wife, Diane, opened a vet business out of their home, and over the years it has grown to service more than 19,000 clients. Set in Central Michigan’s farm country, this reality series follows Dr Pol and the work done at Pol Veterinary Services. Specializing in large farm animals, Dr Pol treats horses, pigs, cows, sheep, alpacas, goats, chickens and even an occasional reindeer. The program also features Dr Brenda Grettenberger, who has worked with Dr Pol since 1992



Kingdom of the White Wolf (S1)

Ronan Donovan, our expert guide and National Geographic photographer, takes the audience on an intimate exploration of the Arctic during the endless day of the summer months, giving insight to the unexpected abundance of the ‘Garden of the Arctic’ in Wolf Valley as he attempts to embed with a wolf family pack.


Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers

In Disney’s take on the Alexander Dumas tale, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy want nothing more than to perform brave deeds on behalf of their queen (Minnie Mouse), but they’re stymied by the head Musketeer, Pete. Pete secretly wants to get rid of the queen, so he appoints Mickey and his bumbling friends as guardians to Minnie, thinking such a maneuver will ensure his scheme’s success. The score features songs based on familiar classical melodies.


Mulan II (2005)

Fa Mulan gets the surprise of her young life when her love, Captain Li Shang asks for her hand in marriage. Before the two can have their happily ever after, the Emperor assigns them a secret mission, to escort three princesses to Chang’an, China. Mushu is determined to drive a wedge between the couple after he learns that he will lose his guardian job if Mulan marries into the Li family.


Party Central

Mike and Sulley are back at Monsters University for a fun-filled weekend with their Oozma Kappa fraternity brothers. The gang is throwing their first party, but no one’s showing up. Luckily for them, Mike and Sulley have come up with a plan to make sure “Party Central” is the most epic party the school has ever seen.


Pocahontas II: Journey To A New World

When news of John Smith’s death reaches America, Pocahontas is devastated. She sets off to London with John Rolfe, to meet with the King of England on a diplomatic mission: to create peace and respect between the two great lands. However, Governor Ratcliffe is still around; he wants to return to Jamestown and take over. He will stop at nothing to discredit the young princess.


Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure (S3)

Set between “Tangled” and “Tangled Ever After,” this animated adventure/comedy series unfolds as Rapunzel acquaints herself with her parents, her kingdom and the people of Corona.


Riley’s First Date

Riley, now 12, is hanging out at home with her parents in San Francisco when potential trouble comes knocking: a boy shows up at the door.


Tinker Bell

Journey into the secret world of Pixie Hollow and hear Tinker Bell speak for the very first time as the astonishing story of Disney’s most famous fairy is finally revealed in the all-new motion picture “Tinker Bell.”


Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue

During a summer stay on the mainland, Tinker Bell is accidentally discovered while investigating a little girl’s fairy house. As the other fairies, led by the brash Vidia, launch a daring rescue in the middle of a fierce storm, Tink develops a special bond with the lonely, little girl.


Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure

A girl bends the rules, to reach her goal, in professional soccer. But her traditional parents refuse to even consider it and want her to hang up her football boots, find a nice boy and learn to cook.


Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat is a 1952 animated short film produced by Walt Disney Productions and released by RKO Radio Pictures. The cartoon, which takes place on Halloween night, follows a series of pranks between Donald Duck and his nephews with Witch Hazel.


One Day At Disney – Episode 140 – “Alice Taylor: Studiolab”

Alice Taylor experiments with new storytelling mediums through Disney’s StudioLAB. From drones to augmented reality, Taylor uses innovation and emerging technologies to continue pushing the boundaries by which content can be created and shared with people around the world.


Friday 11th September

Christoper Robin

Winnie the Pooh enters the life of a now-grown-up Christopher Robin, to seek his help in finding his lost friends in the Hundred Acre Wood.


Weird But True – Episode 305 – Photography

This year Carly and Charlie’s work is the main attraction at an art gala! This year’s gala focuses on photography, but the duo is not as skilled in this artform. They head to Berkeley to learn from one of the best – National Geographic photographer Anand Varma! Their idea to combine paper art with photography makes their creation the hit of the show!


One Day At Disney (Short) Episode 141 – “Amanda Lauder: Chef Chocolatier”

Fulfilling a childhood dream, Amanda Lauder is the Chef Chocolatier for The Ganachery at Disney Springs. Friday 18th September

Becoming

The insightful and uplifting series tells the origin stories of 10 talented athletes, entertainers, and musicians including Adam Devine, Anthony Davis, Ashley Tisdale, Caleb McLaughlin, Candace Parker, Colbie Caillat, Julianne Hough, Nick Cannon, Nick Kroll, and Rob Gronkowski. In this documentary-style series, shot in vérité, each episode centres around a visit to the celebrity’s hometown, touring important locations central to their upbringing. A supporting cast of family members, coaches, teachers, mentors and friends are interviewed, sharing rarely heard anecdotes and insights into the star’s “becoming” story. All 10 episodes will be available on Friday 18th.

When the historic Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, France, burns down, the country’s firefighters strive to put out the fires. These individuals then share insights about the horrific event.


Once Upon a Time (s1-7)

Emma Swan’s past disasters drag her into the small town of Maine. She is the long-lost daughter of a king, who must protect her town from the curse of an evil queen.


Soy Luna (s2-3)

Luna lives with her family in Cancun, where she has a group of friends at school. However, her life changes when her parents receive an offer of work and must move to Buenos Aires, Argentina.


Violetta (s3)

A talented teenager returns to her hometown in Buenos Aires after living many years in Europe.



Friday 25th September

Secret Society of Second-Born Royals

“Secret Society of Second Born Royals” follows Sam, a teenage royal rebel second in line to the throne of the kingdom of Illyria. Just as Sam’s disinterest in the royal way of life is at an all-time high, she discovers she has super-human abilities and is invited to join a secret society of similar extraordinary second-born royals charged with keeping the world safe. Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom
