“Travelling With Snow Man” Disney+ Release Details Announced

Disney has announced details on a brand new Japanese original series called “Travelling With Snow Man”, which will be coming to Disney+ around the world later this month.

The series follows a popular Japanese boy band called “Snow Man”, which consists of nine members, as they embark on an adventure across Japan’s many islands, from Okinawa to Hokkaido. The new series will showcase the members’ adventures as they meet locals, savour regional cuisine, and explore the sights together. Joining them on this adventure is Tabi, an AI-style robot who acts as the group’s 10th member, capturing their candid moments throughout the show.

The group’s travels are centred around the theme of “One for Snow Man, Snow Man for One,” where we see each member of the group focusing on how the individual can further contribute to the betterment of the wider group. The series is full of laughter, tears, strong bonds, and heartfelt determination.

Takashi Kato, Producer and Director of the series, said in a statement regarding the new series:

“We are deeply honoured to announce that the uncut version “Traveling with Snow Man”, with additional scenes, will be streamed globally on Disney+, allowing audiences around the world to enjoy it immediately after broadcasting in Japan.  What stood out to me in our conversations with the group is their deep passion for their work and the strong bond they share. This series captures all of that and more. As we travel across Japan, we capture the members’ genuine personalities and heartfelt dedication, all while savoring local delicacies along the way. And please look forward to the cheeky navigation by the AI-style robot, Tabi.”

“Travelling With Snow Man” will premiere on Nippon TV on July 27th 2025, and it will be released globally on Disney+ straight after its initial linear broadcast.
