Disney held a special red carpet premiere event for the new Marvel Studios series, “Echo”, at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood, Los Angeles, California on Monday evening, ahead of the show’s premiere on Disney+ and Hulu.

The series spotlights Maya Lopez as she is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s criminal empire. When the journey brings her home, she must confront her own family and legacy.

Cast and filmmakers from Marvel Studios’ upcoming series “Echo” were in attendance at the evnet including Alaqua Cox, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Zahn McClarnon, Cody Lightning, Vincent D’Onofrio, Darnell Besaw, Wren Gotts, Morningstar Angeline, Dannie McCallum, and Katarina Ziervogel, and filmmakers Sydney Freeland (director and executive producer), Catriona McKenzie (director), Dave Porter (composer), Ambre Wrigley (costume designer), and Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Stephen Broussard, and Richie Palmer (executive producers).

“Echo” stars Alaqua Cox (“Hawkeye”) as Maya Lopez, as well as Chaske Spencer (“Wild Indian,” “The English”), Tantoo Cardinal (“Killers of the Flower Moon,” “Stumptown”), Devery Jacobs (FX’s “Reservation Dogs,” “American Gods”), Zahn McClarnon (“Dark Winds,” FX’s “Reservation Dogs”) and Cody Lightning (“Hey, Viktor!” “Four Sheets to the Wind”), with Graham Greene (“1883,” “Goliath”) and Vincent D’Onofrio (“Hawkeye,” “Daredevil,” “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”), who returns to the villainous role of Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin.

Episodes of the series are directed by Sydney Freeland (Navajo) and Catriona McKenzie (Gunaikurnai). Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Stephen Broussard, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Victoria Alonso, Richie Palmer, Jason Gavin (Blackfeet), Marion Dayre and Sydney Freeland. Co-executive producers are Jennifer L. Booth and Amy Rardin.

All five episodes of the new series begin streaming at 6 p.m. PT on January 9th, 2024, on Disney+ and Hulu.
