Every month Disney+ adds new series and films to the service. It also adds new seasons of popular shows that are already on the service. Several of us here at “What’s On Disney Plus” are going to give you our Top 5 Films and Series we’re excited to see each month. Let’s take a look at October 2022.

ROGER

1) Big Shot – Season 2
2) Andor
3) Roseline
4) The Walking Dead
5) The Bear
I’m really looking forward to catching up with the characters from “Big Shot”, as that was one of my surprise favourite originals. I’m also looking forward to the final chapter of “The Walking Dead”, which is dropping every Monday in the U.K. throughout October and November . Plus with new episodes of “Andor” every week, it’s gonna be a bumper month for new shows.

JOSH

1) Star Wars: Andor
2) The Mysterious Benedict Society
3) Bear in the Big Blue House
4) Drumline
5) Zorro (status unclear)
Writer-producer Tony Gilroy’s “Andor” series is off to a strong start, what a rich expansion of Star Wars. “The Mysterious Benedict Society” remains one of the best Disney+ Originals, so families should not sleep on season two as it begins on Oct. 26. The Jim Henson Company/Disney series “Bear in the Big Blue House” is a landmark in kids entertainment, and all four seasons will be in rotation in this household with toddlers. “Drumline” is a stellar high-school dramedy with some big stars. Disney’s classic “Zorro” was briefly announced for release, then seemingly pulled, but hopefully the wait is finally over.

JEREMY

  1. Werewolf By Night
  2. The New Mutants
  3. The Mysterious Benedict Society
  4. Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi
  5. Marvel’s Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell

As you can tell by my list, I love Marvel. I really like the old school, schlocky, horror film look of “Werewolf By Night.” I understand that style might only appeal to an American fanbase, but it appeals to me. I haven’t had a chance to check out “The New Mutants” yet, so I’m eager to watch it. I’m also a huge “Star Wars” fan, so “Tales of the Jedi” certainly grabbed my attention. And Disney needs more seasons from its main pillar which makes the return of “The Mysterious Benedict Society” a must watch for me.

Those are some of the series, specials and films the What’s on Disney Plus team is looking forward to in October. But what series, specials and movies are you excited to see?
