
“The Masked Singer” Season 12 “Ship” Preview Released
FOX has released a preview video for the upcoming 12th season of the hit competition series, “The Masked Singer”, which returns later this month.
The new season will feature all-new special theme nights celebrating acclaimed franchises Barbie (celebrating the 65th anniversary of Mattel’s Barbie) and Footloose (ringing in its 40th anniversary), along with the iconic artist Miley Cyrus in a pop culture-piercing night that salutes her music catalog.
“The Masked Singer” stage will also see the return of fan-favorite tentpole themes such as “Soundtrack of My Life” and “Thanksgiving Night,” with other all-new themes including “Sports Night,” “60’s Night” and a first-of-its-kind “Who Are You Fest,” featuring music from memorable festival lineups. And for the first time in the show’s history, viewers will get the biggest clue yet as each of the fifteen masked singers will be endorsed by a celebrity Masked Ambassador. These Ambassadors, all alums of the series, have a special connection to each singer and provide major new clues about their friends’ identities.
Some of the show’s Ambassadors will include Dick Van Dyke (Season 9’s GNOME), Jewel (QUEEN OF HEARTS and Season 6 winner), NE-YO (COW and Season 10 winner) and DeMarcus Ware (Season 11’s KOALA). Additionally, new this season, clues will be hidden everywhere – embedded in costumes, in song choices, packages and on-stage moments.
The Emmy Award-nominated singing competition features host Nick Cannon, alongside fan favorite panelists Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke and Rita Ora.
The preview video features “Sail” who heads out on her maiden voyage with an epic renedition of Bastille’s “Pompeii” and keep a look out for some hidden clues, which might help you work out which celebrity is hiding beneath.

“The Masked Singer” is produced by FOX Alternative Entertainment. Rosie Seitchik, Craig Plestis and Cannon serve as executive producers. Seitchik serves as showrunner. The series is based on the South Korean format created by Mun Hwa Broadcasting Corp.
The new season returns on Wednesday 25th 2024 at 8pm ET on FOX, with new episodes available the following day on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+. The previous nine seasons are also available to stream on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.
