“The Bachelor” Renewed For A Brand New Season
Disney has announced that it has renewed the hit reality series, “The Bachelor”, for its 29th season and will continue to offer some of America’s most eligible single men the chance to find true love.
The series is hosted by Jesse Palmer, one charming Bachelor embarking on a romantic journey full of breathtaking dates, heartfelt moments, and important conversations as they get to know a number of smart, confident, and beautiful women each season. Each week, the leading man will hand out roses to those his connection grows strongest with, gradually narrowing the field in the search for his soulmate until only one rose remains.
Claire Freeland, Jason Ehrlich, Bennett Graebner, Peter Gust, Tim Warner, Jodi Baskerville and Jeff Thomas serve as executive producers on the show.
No release date for the upcoming season has been announced, but the past dozen-plus seasons have all aired on ABC between January and March, so it’s likely this will be the case with the new season. New episodes will be available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ the following day, and some recent seasons are available to stream on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ now.
“The Bachelor” is produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon, which is why the show isn’t available on Disney+ internationally.
Roger’s POV: Fans of “The Bachelor” will no doubt be looking forward to the return of this classic reality series, and after twenty-eight seasons, it’s not a huge surprise to see it returning since it still performs very well in the ratings and is a major part of ABC’s non-scripted lineup.
