Taran Killam To Star In ABC’s “High Potential”
Next month, ABC is set to release a brand new drama series called “High Potential”, which is based on the popular French series “Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI).
The series has been created by Drew Goddard (“The Good Place,” “The Martian”) and follows a single mom with an exceptional mind, whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective (Daniel Sunjata).
“High Potential” stars Kaitlin Olson as Morgan, Daniel Sunjata as Karadec, Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Ozdil, Amirah J as Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot and Judy Reyes as Selena.
Deadline has revealed that Taran Killam has also joined the cast and will play the role of Ludo Radovic, the salt-of-the-earth, kind-hearted, and disarmingly funny ex of Morgan (Olson) and the father of Elliott (Matthew Lamb) and Chloe. As she consults for the LAPD, Morgan heavily leans on Ludo as the primary caregiver for Ava (Amira J), Elliott, and Chloe.
Taran Killam has previously starred on “Saturday Night Live”, along with “American Crime Story: Impeachment” and “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”.
ABC Signature produces “High Potential.” Todd Harthan executive produces with Drew Goddard and Sarah Esberg of Goddard Textiles; Dan Etheridge and Rob Thomas serve as executive producers. Kaitlin Olson serves as producer.
“High Potential” will premiere on ABC on Tuesday, 17th September 2024 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, with new episodes available the next day on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+. The series will also be released as a Star Original on Disney+ internationally.
