Paul Greengrass To Direct 20th Century Studios “Test Drive”

20th Century Studios is developing a brand new thriller film called “Test Drive”, which has been described as a two-hander action thriller.

Unfortunately, we don’t yet know too much about this upcoming film, such as what the story will be, nor who will be starring in it, but the creative team is slowly coming together.

Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell are going to be producing the movie through their Safe House banner, along with Joanna Kaye. Greg Goodman is also producing, with 20th Century’s Scott Aversano overseeing.

20th Century Studios picked up the spec from writer Matt Venne in a heated bidding war in the fall of 202,4 and according to Deadline, Oscar nominee Paul Greengrass has been brought on board to direct the film following his success with Apple’s “The Lost Bus”. He has also worked on “The Uprising” and three of the Jason Bourne movies.

While no release date has been confirmed, it’s hoped that it will be filmed by the end of the year or in early 2027.
