Later this summer, Disney’s FX is releasing the first-ever series based on the iconic sci-fi franchise, “Alien”, which is called “Alien: Earth” and will be coming to Hulu and Disney+.

The series tells the story of what happens when a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet’s greatest threat.   As members of the crash recovery crew search for survivors among the wreckage, they encounter mysterious predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined. With this new threat unlocked, the search crew must fight for survival, and what they choose to do with this discovery could change planet Earth as they know it.

The show stars Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, David Rysdahl, Adrian Edmondson, Adarsh Gourav, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diem Camille and Moe Bar-El.

Deadline has revealed more details on the cast, which will include Richa Moorjani (Never Have I Ever), Karen Aldridge (Severance), Enzo Cilenti (The Crown), Max Rinehart (Industry), Amir Boutrous (Good Omens), Victoria Masoma, Tom Moya (Midsomer Murders), Andy Yu (Fargo), Michael Smiley (Bad Sisters), Jamie Bisping (Mandy) and Tanapol Chuksrida (Thai Cave Rescue).  No character details for these actors have been unveiled.

“Alien: Earth” has been created by Noah Hawley and it will be coming out this summer on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
