Marvel’s “Vision And The Scarlet Witch” Series Coming To Disney Plus
At Disney’s last quarterly results conference call, CEO Bob Iger confirmed a new series based on Marvel’s Loki was in the works for Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, which was followed by a rumour of another series based on the Winter Solider and Falcon from the Avengers. Today, Deadline, has reported that another series for Disney+ is in the works, called “Vision and The Scarlet Witch”.
This show would see Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, both return to play the characters, which we’ve seen in epic blockbuster movies like Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
The show has been rumoured for a while, and /Film’s Peter Sciretta said about the project:
“The other thing I’m hearing is that Paul Bettany‘s Vision will have a large part in the previously reported Scarlet Witch show. In fact, it may actually be a series more about the super-powered couple than just Wanda,”
The title nor the show has officially been revealed by Disney, so things could change. Very little is known about the series yet, such as when it will appear on Disney Plus.
This news is hot off the heels of the news that Daredevil won’t be returning for a new series on Netflix, adding fuel to the fire that Disney is pulling all Marvel content off other streaming networks, to make sure Disney+ is the home for all things Marvel.
